Electronic Filing and Archiving
Jurnal Bisnis Mahasiswa (JBM) is committed to the long-term preservation of its published content so that articles remain accessible and citable over time.
1. Digital preservation
JBM's content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which uses the LOCKSS system to create distributed, secure copies of the journal's content across participating libraries. Articles are also assigned persistent identifiers (DOI) registered through Crossref.
2. Backups
The editorial office keeps regular backups of the journal's website, database, and published files (PDF and XML where available), stored separately from the production server. If the hosting platform or domain becomes unavailable, the backups allow content to be restored.
3. Indexing and national deposit
Published articles are made discoverable through the indexing services listed on the Abstracting & Indexing page, and metadata are submitted to relevant national and international repositories.
4. Author self-archiving
Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, provided the original publication in JBM is cited and the license terms are respected.
5. Continuity
If JBM ceases publication, the publisher will make reasonable efforts to keep archived content accessible through the preservation services above.
