Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been published before, and is not being considered for publication in another journal (or as explained in Comments to the Editor).
  • Manuscript files are in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format.
  • References that can be accessed online have their URLs written down.
  • The manuscript is typed with 1 spaced text; font 12; use italics, not underlined letters (except URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the text in the expected places, not grouped separately at the end of the text.
  • The manuscript follows the stylistic and bibliographic rules required in the Author's Guide.

Author Guidelines

Welcome to Jurnal Bisnis Mahasiswa! We invite authors to submit scholarly works in the field of business. Please follow these guidelines to prepare and submit your article:

Types of Submissions
We accept research articles, review articles, case studies, and conceptual articles in the field of business. Ensure that your article is relevant to the journal's focus.

Writing Format

  1. Title: Provide a clear, informative title that accurately represents the content of the article.
  2. Authors: Include full names, institutions, and email addresses of the authors below the title.
  3. Abstract: Include an abstract with a maximum length of 250 words that outlines the research's objectives, methods used, main findings, and practical implications.
  4. Keywords: Provide 3-5 relevant keywords related to the article's topic.
  5. Introduction: Explain the background, research objectives, and topic relevance.
  6. Research Methodology: Describe the research design, population or sample, instruments used, and data collection procedures.
  7. Findings and Analysis: Present research findings and analysis in detail, and support them with tables, graphs, or illustrations if needed.
  8. Discussion: Discuss and interpret your research findings, and compare them to previous research. Review the practical and theoretical implications of your findings.
  9. Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and practical recommendations resulting from your research.
  10. References: List all references used in the article, following the appropriate citation style (e.g., APA, MLA).
  11. Appendices: Include appendices if necessary, such as research instruments or additional data.

Language and Writing Style

  1. Use proper and correct Indonesian language. Avoid the use of jargon or phrases that are difficult to understand.
  2. Ensure that your article is written with proper grammar and spelling.
  3. Use a consistent writing style, including the use of capitalization, citation, punctuation, and more.

Article Submission

  1. Articles must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  2. Send your article to our OJS system.
  3. Include author contact information (name, institution, email address, and phone number).

Review Process

  1. Each article will undergo a review process by relevant experts in the field of business.
  2. Authors will be notified of the review results and given the opportunity to revise the article based on the provided feedback.
  3. The final decision on whether to publish the article will be communicated to the authors.

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
